Berry Yogurt Parfaits with Granola

A light and wholesome recipe that’s as beautiful as it is delicious! These layered parfaits combine creamy yogurt, fresh seasonal berries, and crunchy granola—perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a healthy dessert.

Ingredients (Serves 4)

For the Parfaits:

  • 2 cups plain or vanilla Greek yogurt (dairy or plant-based)

  • 1½ cups fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, or blackberries)

  • 1½ cups granola (homemade or store-bought)

  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)

  • 1 tsp lemon zest (optional, for brightness)

  • Fresh mint leaves, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

1. Prep the Ingredients

  • Wash and slice the berries if needed.

  • If using plain yogurt, you can sweeten it slightly with honey or maple syrup to taste.

2. Layer the Parfaits

  • In small glasses or jars, layer the ingredients in this order:

    1. A couple spoonfuls of yogurt

    2. A handful of berries

    3. A spoonful of granola

  • Repeat layers until the containers are filled, ending with berries and a sprinkle of granola on top.

  • Garnish with lemon zest and fresh mint if desired.

3. Serve or Store

  • Serve immediately for maximum granola crunch.

  • If making ahead, layer the yogurt and berries first and add the granola just before serving to keep it crisp.

Tips for Success

✔ Use local, in-season berries for the best flavor and color.

✔ Try a flavored yogurt like honey, coconut, or vanilla for variety.

✔ For extra texture, add a sprinkle of chia seeds, flax, or coconut flakes.

✔ Make it kid-friendly by using smaller jars and letting them build their own.
